Silence Lost
When I hear the melody
And the poem you sing
It takes me to another time
I remember us, the you, the me
Amiss the world and gripping anguish
The song that is sung
Sings peace to me.
Adrift the lapping vast blue ocean
We'd live, we'd share this reoccurring dream
That nothing even death could take us
And that you'd come back to "we"
Unscathed by the world
And its fleeting luster
Beyond the grasp of the uncertain fix
I long to know for ever after
For it be only this moment
That you'd be missed
Sometimes the music uncontrollably consumes me
I beg for it to stop, release me
It lingers in my head and heart
Because now I know were not just apart
Somber feelings of acts untold
Reveals the truth a soul thats sold
And no one else can now release you
I realize now that I cant save you
In our journey to prove OURSELF
Surrender to the fact before me
I give up the ghost that was
For you are gone in word and action
As your hearts death lingers on
I will cherish that one within you
The only one I saw
And let you be the you that deceives you
And let go to let my heart live on
