Jail House Rock

So today I had the privilege of playing BINGO with my Peeps at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home. I have to admit I had a great time. The women were all so wonderful. They made me think! Making me aware that under different circumstances they would all have their own stories and experiences that could make me a better person if only they could have all their faculties intact to share them with me.
Even though that may not be the case now, they manage to hold on to their great spirits and the know how to still have fun as well as play a wicked game of BINGO!
So...an experience I went away with I'll call:
"Jail House Rock"
...DOT was her name, she sat there, before we started and said out loud. "Jail house rock". I asked if she liked that song and agreed with her that is was a good one indeed. Two or three more times she said it randomly but out loud. Then another gal, a "volunteer" came in and standing across from DOT began helping the lady sitting a crossed the table. When a few moments later, DOT having lost interest in the game; said out load for the last time; "Jail house rock". She, just staring straight a crossed the table. I followed her gaze and when I looked in the same direction, I was shocked for a moment. When I noticed the volunteer that had come in a good 45mins after we started, had on a big black t shirt that said "Jail house rock" a crossed the front.
It was a definite moment. It ROCKED :)
