This quote reminded me of a video I saw recently and I think they go hand in hand.
I am thankful to have seen this & to be able to share it. It gave my personal feelings and thoughts a life that my words struggle to express. If you have seen it already, I know you can understand my point.
It's short. Only 4 mins. It shows what's going on within the hearts and minds of a handful of individuals/strangers.
However, to me, this is real life & it is happening right now, all around us everyday.
I will always struggle to understand why when we have so much to offer one another, we withhold so much of ourselves or for ourselves. We think the best place to be is in a false sense of control, or basking in our own success, while we are on top, we are good, yet we are looking down on others who are struggling. What makes us better, the fact that we are not? Or that place we call safe, that is all a "perception" we call a comfort zone. But the reality is, that the greatest power we have within us to do good, is that power we share with those we choose, and it is LOVE.
Whether you are religious or not. One thing that is universal, is that the idea of a higher power is a source of LOVE, one that is sufficient for all.
I personally believe we are created in the image of a loving Father in Heaven who has given us agency to do what we will for good or bad. In that birthright runs a divine potentiality of love and goodness. We must teach ourselves to never judge, but to only find LOVE for each other!
We are all in this together. It is solely circumstance that separates our experiences in this mortal life. We did not come into this world to be selfish, self-serving, unforgiving, hateful and unkind. What purpose would that fulfill? But how could we change things if we could learn to see...
...inside other people's hearts
and offer unconditional LOVE
