Interview with Jonathan Just
"It’s not who I am on the outside, but what I do that defines me."

Jonathan had a class assignment in school where the students were required to interview one another and then write about the interview. As a mother, I was delighted to read what was written about our Jonathan, it is always interesting to see your child from another's perspective. Maybe with this I can be a little more aware in assisting Jonathan success in becoming what he dreams of being. I mean, couldn't we all make use of a good super hero?

Born in Charleston, S.C. Jon is a simple boy with a big future and a memorable youth. His favorite memory as a child was when he was eight years old and he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He says the whole experience was exhilarating. I also got the chance to ask him some personal questions.
I asked him what the greatest accomplishment in life was so far, he told me it was being able to stay physically fit. He accomplishes this by doing many activities. He goes to the gym where he likes to do some weight lifting and he also likes to do core workouts. He also enjoys running with his mom and participates in the school's wrestling team and modern dance class. His goal is to be ripped like his role model, a "Spartan" from the movie '300'. Besides accomplishing the physically fit goal he is also proud of being a good person. When I asked him how he thinks he got to be such a good person,
he smiled flashing his pearly whites and said "I was just made that way."
Jonathan wants the world to change. He said if it was possible then to change human nature because as humans we tend to be very greedy, fearful, power-hungry and selfish. In his appearance he says he would change by being just a little taller and to have nicer teeth. When I askd Jon what would be his dream job, he said it would have to be protecting the city under the name Batman. He likes Batman because he doesn't beat people up, he is a spy and a ninja. It seem that Jonathan has many Super Hero role models.
Jonathan is just a simple seventeen year old boy who is ready to take on the world.
